He formed Abbey Aquatics with a friend in 2009 after 4 years working together in a local aquatic centre.

 

Inspired by his parents from a young age, he's always had a love for nature and the great outdoors. He is passionate about wildlife and the natural world and it was this fascination that led to him wanting to work with animals and with aquatic life in particular. 

He's always been interested in ponds and rivers and the way the water changes and interacts with the world around it. As a child, many hours were spent damning up streams on the beach and building sea defenses with sand, then watching the waves crash against them. To now be able to build ponds and waterfalls every day is a dream come true!

In his spare time he enjoys playing cricket for St Albans, skiing, hiking and long walks with his wife Laura, and dog Cooper.
